Features

The Ubiquiti UniFi 2.5G PoE+ Injector is a robust power adapter for network devices. It injects power and multi‑gigabit data over a single Ethernet cable. This injector works well with Wi‑Fi 7 and Wi‑Fi 6E access points, multi‑gigabit IP cameras, and advanced VoIP systems. It eliminates the need for an expensive PoE switch.

The adapter outputs 48V DC at 0.65A, delivering up to 30W of PoE+ power. It supports 2.5 GbE speeds over its inline ports. This prevents bandwidth bottlenecks. It has one data input port, one PoE+ output port, and a status LED for quick health checks.

Energy efficiency exceeds 87 percent. This reduces heat and power waste inside enclosures. Built‑in surge, peak pulse, and overcurrent protection safeguard connected devices. A heavy‑duty AC cable with earth ground diverts voltage spikes. The compact housing can be wall‑mounted for neat cable management.

Frequently Ask Question

How to connect PoE injector unifi? +

Set up a UniFi PoE injector by plugging the power cord into the unit, connecting an Ethernet cable from your network switch to the LAN port, and running a second Ethernet cable from the PoE port to your access point.

What are the PoE requirements for an Ubiquiti access point? +

Most UniFi Access Points require standard 802.3af (PoE) or 802.3at (PoE+) power, typically consuming between 4W and 20W depending on the specific model and features like PoE passthrough.

Where to place a PoE injector? +

You can place a Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector anywhere along the Ethernet run between your network switch/router and your powered device.

Does a PoE injector need a switch? +

No, a PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector does not need a network switch to work.

Why is my PoE injector not working? +

Your PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector may not be working because of swapped cable ports, incompatible standards, or a bad cable.

How to activate PoE? +

You can enable Power over Ethernet (PoE) using the command-line interface (CLI) of your network switch or device, as PoE is often turned on by default.

What is the U-POE adapter used for? +

The U-POE adapter provides both power and data over a single Ethernet cable, making it ideal for powering compatible network devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and other PoE-enabled equipment.

What output power does the U-POE provide? +

The adapter delivers a stable output of 48V DC at 0.65A (approximately 31.2W), providing reliable power for supported passive PoE hardware and devices requiring 48V power delivery.

Does the U-POE support Gigabit Ethernet speeds? +

Yes. The U-POE features a fully rated Gigabit LAN port architecture, allowing high-speed data transmission up to 1000 Mbps alongside its electrical power delivery with zero bottlenecking.

What type of Ethernet ports does the adapter use? +
