Does the U6+ support UniFi Protect Smart Sensors?

No. The U6+ lacks an internal Bluetooth radio, meaning it cannot communicate with or act as a Bluetooth gateway for wireless Protect sensors.

Can I set up the U6+ using Bluetooth on the mobile app?

No. Because it has no Bluetooth radio, it cannot be discovered via proximity. You must adopt and configure it over the local wired network using the UniFi Network application.
