What does the "TotalSecure Advanced Edition" include?
his is an all-in-one bundle. It includes the TZ570 hardware appliance plus a 1-year subscription to the Advanced Gateway Security Suite (AGSS). This covers sandboxing (Capture ATP), Gateway Anti-Virus, Content Filtering, Application Control, and 24x7 Support.
What happens after the 1-year term expires?
The hardware will continue to function as a basic firewall/router, but all security services (like virus scanning and web filtering) and technical support will stop. You will need to purchase a renewal license (Advanced Gateway Security Suite) to keep the protection active.
Is there a difference between "Essential" and "Advanced" TotalSecure?
Yes. The Advanced Edition included in this part number adds Capture ATP with RTDMI (SonicWall’s premier sandboxing technology). This is critical for defending against "Zero-Day" threats that haven't been identified by traditional antivirus signatures yet.
Does the TZ570 support high-speed fiber internet?
Yes. Unlike the lower-tier TZ models, the TZ570 features two 5GbE SFP+ ports. This allows you to connect directly to high-speed fiber modules or multi-gigabit switches without a bottleneck.
Is the TZ570 fanless like the smaller models?
No. Due to the high-performance processor required to push 4.0 Gbps throughput, the TZ570 has an integrated cooling fan. However, it is designed to be quiet enough for an office environment.
